- Association fees apply to individuals who place their license with a real estate firm that is a member of a REALTORŪ association. REALTORŪ associations are similar to clubs; in order to receive the benefits you must become a member. One of the primary benefits of membership is the sharing of information about properties listed for sale through the Multiple Listing Service, (MLS). Because of the efficiency & accuracy of the MLS, billions of dollars of real estate transactions occur smoothly and accurately. Membership fee payments are made directly to the appropriate association, not to the real estate firm. Individuals with inactive real estate licenses do not pay association fees. Please call the associations to obtain fees.
